The Sunflower After The Storm

So, I was walking around in my backyard today. Chase had mowed back there, around a place that had been REALLY needing it, out on the other side of the shed. Then, I spotted it. Right there in all its glory. It had sprung up all on its own. Amidst all the remaining tornado destruction (from April 24) in the background, it was the rainbow after the storm. A facebook friend put it so perfectly:

"GOD's miracle, from a small seed in the path of destruction - Life, such beauty in one flower."

Thank you, God.

And, it made me happy.
